Hypothalamus- The Hypothalamus is a part of the brain that secretes hormones in the pituitary gland. It controls water balance, sleep, temperature, appetite, and blood pressure.

Pineal Body- The pineal body is locatedBelow the corpus callosum, which is in the Brain. It produces the hormone melatonin, a naturally occurring antioxidant that helps regulate the body's circadian rhythm

Pituitary Gland- The Pituitary gland is positioned near the base of the brain. No bigger than the size of an average pea, this gland controls many other glands in the endocrine system.

Thyroid & Parathyroid Glands- They areBoth located in the front region of the neck, below the voice box. It plays and important role in the body's metabolism. Both the thyroid and parathyroid glands also play a role in the regulation of the body's calcium balance.

Thymus- the thymus is in the upper part of the chest and produces T-lymphocytes which are white blood cells that fight infections and destroy abnormal cells.

Adrenal glands- There are two and they are located on the top of both kidneys. They both work with the hypothalamus and pituitary glands.

Kidneys- The kidneys are near the middle of the back, just under the ribcage. The pair processes blood to sift out waste and extra water. The waste and extra water that the kidneys sift out becomes urine, and is then stored in the bladder.

Pancreas- It is located across the abdomen, behind the stomach. It plays a role in the digestion, as well as the hormone production.

Ovary- a females ovaries are located on both sides of her uterus, blow the opening of the fallopian tubes. Ovaries house egg cells and produce estrogen and progesterone.

Testis- they are located in a sac that hangs between your legs for men only. It produces sperm and testosterone.

There are 30 hormones in a human body The hypothalamus is the gland that

makes you feel hunger and thirst. It also helps in body temperature.

The endocrine system aids the immune system by helping the body build resistance to disease.

The human behavior is also controlled by the endocrine system when it affects the nervous system.

The pineal gland is the gland that makes us go to sleep.
