In a recent survey, just 2% of workers identify saving or planning for retirement as the most pressing financial issue facing Americans, yet only 13% are “very confident” they’ll have enough money to live comfortably in retirement.1

The Employee Engagement Solution, offered exclusively through your retirement plan advisor and Worksite Financial Solutions, seeks to help employees understand the benefits of enrolling in their retirement plan and planning for their financial future. The program offers two types of benefits to your plan:

� The rollin service educates employees on how they can consolidate retirement accounts from previous employers, and the pros and cons of the different distribution options that exist.

� The enrollment service2 provides your employees with guidance in understanding their retirement plan and may also be able to assist them in the enrollment process.

The Employee Engagement Solution has the potential to lead to increased plan enrollment, higher average deferral rates and an increase in plan assets - adding value to your benefits program, without increasing costs to the plan. And your employees will benefit from having a more simplified approach to enrolling in their plan and consolidating assets.

Once the plan is enrolled in the Employee Engagement Solution, new employees receive correspondence approximately 1 to 2 weeks after they join the plan.

� Informs employees that they have options for past retirement accounts

Once the plan is enrolled in the Employee Engagement Solution, employees will receive correspondence 2 to 6 weeks after they become eligible to join the plan.2 Only one mailer is sent for enrollment.

Implementing a well-planned communications stratgy is a critical element of your duty to provide information to participants about their retirement plan. The Employee Engagement Solution uses a streamlined outreach process that strives to provide your employees the right information at the right time.

One of the key benefits of the Employee Engagement Solution is that the service includes communications that help encourage employees to make the most of their retirement plan. If your plan offers the enrollment service, active employees who are eligible to enroll in their plan will receive the enrollment letter which outlines key benefits of joining their plan. In addition, as part of the rollin service that comes with the Employee Engagement Solution, employees who have enrolled in the plan will receive mailers that help educate them on their distribution options for retirement accounts with previous employers. Below are descriptions of the types of communications we’re currently sending to employees.

This series of informative communications seeks to help employees engage in their retirement plan and also reminds them to consider their options for retirement accounts they have with past employers. With the goal of encouraging employees to contact the Retirement Results Team for more information and assistance, the messaging of these communications is designed to educate as well as resonate emotionally with the recipient. For readable samples of the materials, please refer to the Employee Engagement Solution Outreach Campaign Sample Kit.

and Worksite Financial Solutions. Including a company logo on all communications that employees receive greatly increases their recognition of the service as a benefit provided by you.

� Please note: the Employee Engagement Solution Enrollment mailing will only be sent to employees if you have enrolled the plan in the enrollment service, which is only available to plans with certain providers. To learn more, speak with your retirement plan advisor.

To create a comprehensive marketing strategy, it is recommended you supplement the employee outreach campaign communications with additional marketing materials such as flyers and posters that can be distributed in the workplace. Materials are available for both the enrollment service and the rollin service of the Employee Engagement Solution.
