E.A.S.Y
We’re looking to run a series articles following a simple model that can help you focus on your business in 4 key areas.
Before we dive in, we’ve got two questions for you to think about for each section:
1. How can we make each section super clear?2. What examples do you think would work well?
Why we need your help with this
E is for Efficiency
So what is E.A.S.Y?
E is for Efficiency
A is for Add sales channels
So what is E.A.S.Y?

S is for Stock
Y is for Why are you doing this?
So what is E.A.S.Y?
This comes in two forms, internal efficiency and external efficiency:
InternalEverything you do within your businesseg:
ExternalEverything that your customers seeeg: Listing templates, website, packaging, emails
E is for “Efficiency”
This is all about “eye balls”, more potential buyers that see your products the more chances that you have to make a sale
Existing● What can better on your existing sales channels● Expand into Australia, United States as two English speaking sites● Look at selling into Europe ( “cross border trade”, note the podcast later today )
New● If you sell on eBay and not Amazon, then look at Amazon ( and vice versa )● Building your own website
A is for “Add Sales Channels”
We all know the saying “You make your money when you buy”
Think about:● The 4 Standard business models
Stocked, Manufacture, Virtual / Just-in-time & Asset Recovery● Relationships with suppliers
How can you deepen them, when is your contacts birthday for example?● Range selling
Expanding an already performing range of products further● Cross Selling
eBay promotions manager, related, upsell & cross sell items● Using your existing stock more than once
Building kits of products, searching for duplicates on Amazon, new eBay account(s)
S is for “Stock”
Why or who is behind the business. Also this covers branding as well, how is your business displayed to your customers.
● Do you have a story to tell?Do you share this?
● Have you got a logo?● Do you carry your branding everywhere with you?
Your website, eBay, the Amazon seller logo, linkedIn, in emails, on invoices
Y is for “Why”
