One Northwoods youth attended DREAM’s Teen Identity Retreat in Burlington, VT on April 6-7. Teens participated in a scavenger hunt on Church Street, learned how to hula hoop, and participated in sessions on healthy relationships and finding their best selves. Mentors held several fundraisers on-campus to help support their culminating experience scheduled for late May. Two new youth were welcomed to the Northwoods Local Program. Participants Mentees Mentors Total: 18 Total: 26 Females: 9 Females: 17 Males: 9 Males: 9 Weekly Programming with Children Mentoring pairs spent four Fridays on Dartmouth’s campus participating in one- on-one and small group activities. On two different Fridays, youth helped their mentors bake cupcakes, cookies, and brownies for DREAM fundraisers. Thank you for your ongoing support of DREAM.
