Conference Description: The Divine Presence Conference is a special conference that will be exploring the theme of “God with us”, the theme of divine presence in scripture. The theme of divine presence, specifically God's presence on earth with his human creation, saturates the biblical story from its beginning to its end. The theme is front and center in the earliest chapters of Genesis and finds its conclusion and consummation in the last chapters of Revelation. This academic conference is geared toward those serious about study, and in particular the scholar-pastor. Attendees will be those who have a particular interest in the topic of “divine presence” and who may have studied under Dr. Gary Pratico, in whose honor this conference is being held. Other Conference Information
Internet Access: There will be wireless internet available for your use during the conference. Power: We will have power available if requested. Please inform us if you will need an electrical outlet for your use during the conference. Registration/Meals/Snacks: You will receive one conference registration with the purchase of an exhibit booth. This registration includes conference meals and snacks. Additional exhibitors must purchase a conference registration to partake in the meals and snacks during the conference. Additional registrations will adhere to the general registration pricing structure. Please note that rates will increase as the conference date approaches; it is advisable to register in advance. Off-campus restaurants are located about 15 minutes from campus if additional members of your party prefer not to purchase a conference registration. Accommodations/Transportation: We have a room block at local hotels for the duration of the conference. You may visit the conference website www.gordonconwell.edu/shoemaker for more information or contact the conference coordinator at [email protected] for a list of local hotels. Exhibitors are responsible for their own transportation and lodging.

Shipping: Any books or conference supplies must be shipped so we receive them no later than October 4, 2013. Hamilton, MA 01982 Please inform the conference coordinator when you are shipping any items so we may be aware and make sure to have your products available to you for when you arrive. Also, you are responsible for shipping any items back after the conference and for cleaning up your exhibit space when you leave. Exhibitor Booth Location: The exhibit booths will be located along the Kaiser Chapel Lobby of the Academic Center of Gordon-Conwell. You will have prime access to the conference guests as they enter and leave the chapel between sessions.
