After that, a lady taught us how

the Olympic Village looked in

the days of the Victorians.

There were many factories built

in the Olympic Village. Another

important fact is that the scrap

bits that were left to make fac-

to make the roads and the

want to destroy those

‘’A faithful man will abound with blessings, but he who hastens to be rich

will not go unpunished’’

Proverbs 28:20

We have studied in the past that God has already blessed us, we do not need

to dwell in our mistakes and sins, as God has prepared everything for us. The

only thing that we have to do is to ‘’Go and Inherit the Blessing’’

On this Sunday, God taught us: How to inherit the blessing.

We may have one common question “How can I find the Blessing which God

has prepared for me?”

It is clearly written in the Bible that

“A faithful one will abound with blessings.”

Proverbs 28:20

If you remain as a honest person in every thing you do, God will give you per-

fect blessings. You may even do something little which no one knows but God

sees you and will Honour you for all the Good work you do.

Faith is a systematic law from God.

“A Faithful man will surely get his crown. But who Hastens (Who rush) to

become rich will not go unpunished. They will end up with nothing.”

Proverbs 28:20

The Bible Says:

“Be sober; Be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like

a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.”

1 Peter 5:8

Therefore we must always remember to be sober and vigilant and to Resist

the deviI.

If we made mistakes, we open the door to the enemy to come and destroy our

life.

We must be steadfast in faith knowing that the same sufferings are experi-

enced by our brotherhood in the world.

If our Father tells us something clearly, we all know there is reason behind this.

He is telling us to be faithful, in every single way.

On 22nd of January.

Whoever comes to God, no matter

what their situation or circum- stances

they are in, God can solve all our problems. He doesn’t want us to look at the

problems, but he called us to believe in his word.

“When anyone hears the word of the kingdom, and does not under-

stand it, then the wicked one comes and snatches away what was sown

in his heart. This is he who received seed by the wayside”.

Matthew 13:19

It can be seen in the Bible that Jesus often says: do not give any opportunity

for the power of darkness. The Word of God is the same in every situation. So

if any of you fail to take the word of God, you have given an opportunity to

the power of darkness.

Because the word of God is powerful. It can do anything to change your life.

So the power of darkness can do anything to destroy the word of God which

is in your heart.

The Word of God has power and God has accomplished everything by his

word.

The devil does not have any power in your life, if you live with the word of

God, the word of God which comes into you, will do everything for you.

God did everything for you through Jesus Christ

Therefore Brothers and Sisters don’t trust the situation. Trust in word of God

and claim a successful life.

Amen

was running. So he went to work on one of his building sites. He

was introduced to his workers as a new recruit and was put to work

laying bricks for the construction of a new skyscraper. During

the morning he spoke with one of the builders and asked him what

he thought of the job and the company that he was working for.

The man replied that this job was the worst job he had ever had, it

was so boring and all they did all day was lay one brick on top of

another. In the afternoon the CEO approached another man and

asked him the same sort of questions, this man told him that the

job was amazing, that he was so excited to be building what would

one day be one of the biggest skyscrapers in America. He went on

all afternoon about he was so proud to be a part of the building

team and how he couldn’t wait for it to be finished so that he could

tell his kids that he had built it. He called himself a history maker

because the building would live on a long time after he had died.

Even though the two men were doing exactly the same job, they

both had different ideas about the job. The first man did not enjoy

the work at all, he probably got up in the morning, dreading going

to work thinking about how bored he was going to be all day.

Where as the second man would probably get up all excited, ready

to go and enjoy another day of being a history maker, telling his kids

stories of how big the building was going to be and how fantastic it

would look once it was finished. When the CEO returned to his office

he called a board meeting and discussed his findings with the mem-

bers of the board. In this meeting it was decided that the second

man, the man with the right perspective, was given an immediate

promotion. He was not promoted to site foreman or shift super-

visor, but was promoted to Vice President for Marketing for the

entire building company. This was a massive promotion giving him

not only a pay rise of more than four times his previous salary but

also a new home and company car. The first man was left to be low-

ly brick layer and continued in that position until he retired some

forty years later.

Keeping The Right

Perspective

Bro.Daniel

Look at this picture, what do you see?

Now turn it upside down, what do you see now?

It is amazing how things change when we look at them from a

different perspective.

This is not something that is restricted to pictures but works in our

everyday lives.

It is easy to focus on what is wrong with your life, on how unlucky

you are, or how you never get what you need, but living like this

can lead to you forgetting about all the good things that have hap-

pened in your life; all the good things that God has done for you. If

we live life with a negative perspective we will miss out on the

opportunities to be thankful and happy and this in turn will pre-

vent us from living a life filled with joy.

Keeping the right Perspective is very important to living a life filled

with joy, when times are tough it is the wrong perspective to

think “I will never make it”, the right perspective is to think

“God is supplying all my needs”.

People naturally fall into two different groups, there are those who

complain about everything, who always have a negative perspec-

tive and there are those who always see the best in everything,

who always find something in their situation that they can be

happy about.

A CEO of a major building company in America decided that he

would see what his employees thought of the company that he

Page 5: The Creator May2012

5

There will always be situations that will cause us to feel discouraged or unhappy, but one thing to remember is that seeds of discouragement

cannot take root in a grateful heart. In other words if we live our lives with a grateful heart it is much harder for us to be affected by our situa-

tions. Instead of looking at what you don’t have, thank God for what you do have!

In 2012, all the eyes of the world will be on London, where the 30th Olympic Games are to take place. Everybody will be looking to the sporting

greats like Usain Bolt, Tom Daley to make their countries proud by winning Gold medals. Alongside the Olympics there will also be the Paralympic

Games which is for athletes who have physical disabilities. These are people who have overcome great difficulties but have persevered

through the hard work and pain and are given the opportunity to compete on the same stage as the everyday household names men tioned

above. One such person is Nathalie du Toit.

Nathalie du Toit is a South African Swimmer. She began swimming competitively at the age of fourteen. In 1998 she competed in the common-

wealth games in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. In 2001 she was involved in a serious car accident. She was hit by a car while riding her scooter back to

school. The accident was so serious that it led to her having her left leg amputated at the knee. This looked like the end of her swimming career.

At this point in her life there seems very little to be grateful for. This would be the biggest test of Nathalie’s perspective. It would have been very

easy for her to give up her swimming and go back to school in her wheelchair and live out the rest of her life in relative ob scurity.

But she had other ideas, less than three months later, before she could even walk again, she was back in the pool, training h ard, with the intention

of competing in the 2002 Commonwealth Games in Manchester. In 2002, she not only competed, but she won two gold medals. She also won the

David Dixon Award, which is awarded to most outstanding athlete to compete in the games. She has gone on since then and has won 17 more

gold medals in both Commonwealth Games and Paralympics. She has even beaten able bodied swimmers. She goes into the 2012 Paralympics as

the favourite to win at least three more gold medals. When she was asked what made her continue swimming, she replied that “God had given

her a purpose in life, that by her getting back in the pool, she hoped to encourage other accident victims not

to give up on their dreams”

So we can see that the way you look at life give you direction. For instance if Nathalie had felt sorry for her-

self and thought that the accident made swimming impossible, she would never have achieved her sporting

accomplishments.

The best way to keep the right perspective is to remember what God has done for you .

If you are not well, remember that the Lord is a God that heals.

If you have lost your job, remember He has set before you an open door and no one can close it.

If you are having a problem with your visa, remember that He is Jehovah Jireh, your provider.

Just thinking like this will have a dramatic change on your outlook on life. It will help you to keep your joy. This will in turn help you to keep strong

- “The Joy of The Lord is Your Strength.” Nehemiah 8:10

If your life is not going the way you want it too, try changing the way you look at things, try changing your perspective.

What have you got to lose.

It is a well known fact that Manchester United are one of the BEST teams in the Premier League and in the world, producing some of

the best players such as Sir Bobby Charlton, David Beckham, Ryan Giggs, and of course Cristiano Ronaldo. It is also known that they

currently have one of the best managers in the world, Sir Alex Ferguson, who in his 26 year managing experience for Manchester

United alone since 1986 he has seen 12 Premier League Titles, 5 F.A Cups, and 2 UEFA Champions League Titles to his name with

Manchester United, making him one of the best managers in the history of the game.

It is also a known fact that Manchester United has a long term rivalry with another premier league club and neighbouring club, Man-

chester City. This season (2011-12) there has been an EXTREMELY narrow margin between both clubs fighting for first place in

the Barclays Premier League and claiming the Title as the best team in England.

During these late stages of the competition, it is evident watching both teams play that they are both striving with all their might

and effort to claim the Title. Manchester City coach Roberto Mancini is a very strict coach who doesn’t take losses too kindly, while

Sir Alex Ferguson is a more civilized yet terse coach who keeps his nerve and still gets what he wants and knows EXACTLY what he’s

doing and is usually ahead of the game.

Right now in this late and crucial stage of the competition, Manchester United holds a 5 point lead against rivals Manchester City.

Even with this lead, it is still anyone’s game with the big match between both Manchester United and Manchester City coming up

soon which could determine which team claims the league title.

So what can we take from this?

It is evident that one of these two teams are going to win the league because of their hard effort, so we can say that in everything

that we do, we must put all our effort into it so we will get what we want, and we should put our faith in God and trust in Him when

we do such things. Sometimes what you want might not be what God wants, and therefore you might not receive it, so you should

always ask God if it is His will ,let it be done!

Because as it says:

“The horse is prepared for the day of battle, but the victory belongs to the LORD.” Pro21:31

The plague

The plague is a type of a disease. It happened a long time ago.

The rich people thought it was from the poor people, as they nev-

er washed themselves. Some people thought it was the bad air.

However they were all wrong. The disease came from the fleas.

And the fleas jumped onto the people and bit them. When people

get the plague they would have pink coloured spots, black toes,

black nose and black finger tips. This happened because every-

one dropped the rubbish everywhere.

This is a story of a man named Daniel who believed in God. Daniel was a hardworking man, he trusted God all the time.

There was a king named Darius and he liked Daniel a lot, so he put Daniel in charge of the whole Country. The King respected

Daniel, and so the other workers wanted to get him in trouble. The workers did not know what to do, because the King would

never do a thing like that to hurt him.

A few days later, the workers thought of a plan to get rid of Daniel. The plan was to make a Law that if anyone prays to any

God except the King then they will be thrown in the lion’s den.

The workers told the King this plan the King thought it was a great Law .The workers told everyone about this Law. The on-

ly person they didn’t tell was Daniel.

Once Daniel heard the Law he went to his room and prayed to god three times as usual .The three workers saw Daniel pray-

ing to God three times and not to the King. They ran to the king and told him that Daniel prayed to god three times. The

king did not want to put Daniel in the den, but the workers said its part of the Law so he had to put Daniel in the den.

The King was so sad he couldn’t eat or sleep because he was so worried about Daniel. The next day the King ran to see Dan-

iel in the den. Daniel was not eaten by the lions, because God sent his angel to shut the lion’s mouth. He was alive, and the

King was happy and asked his servants to take him out of the Lion’s den. Trust in God in

all situations and he will help you like he did with Daniel when he was in the lion’s den.

Eat Healthy

Parents have to persuade their children, in many ways, to eat

their fruits and vegetables. Health-conscious parents under-

stand that fruit and veg are very important for children. From eating fruits and vegetables the

obesity risk can be avoided. More than 15% of children are overweight are obese. If children eat

fruits and vegetables it will prevent any disease such as heart disease and

diabetes. (It can even split cancer in half and prevent arthritis). Fruit and

vegetables have fewer calories than common foods e.g soda, chips or

candy. Fruits and vegetables have vitamins and minerals which a child’s

body requires.. Fruits like oranges and apples are rich in vitamin C. Green

vegetables such as green beans and broccoli are high in magnesium, high

the body needs for their bones to grow. Green leafy vegetables like spinach

are high in iron, needed for healthy blood cells to form.

God Forgives You Jesus loved to tell people of God’s forgiveness. But the Jewish leaders taught about how people should not be friends with sinners. Jesus decid-

ed that the best way to teach the people was to tell them a story. So he told them a story about

how God is happy when a sinner is sorry for what he has done wrong. The story was about a rich man who had two boys.

One of the boys decided to leave his father’s house and took half of what his father owned and went to live in a faraway land . The boy spent his

money foolishly and he soon had nothing left. What was he going to do?

To make matters worse there was a famine in the land where he was living. He had no money to buy food and so he became very hungry. He

got a job; it was to feed the pigs of a nearby farmer. However the money was not enough and so he still was unable to buy food. He was so hun-

gry he used to think about eating the pig food.

Finally he thought to himself that back in his father’s house, even the servant had enough food and no one was

hungry. He decided that he would go back home and beg his father for forgiveness and ask him to make him like

one of his servants because he felt like he was not worthy to be one of his son’s.

As he was travelling back to his father’s house, when he was still quite far away, his father saw him coming and

was very excited. He ran out to meet his son and kissed and hugged him. The boy was about to ask his father for

forgiveness, but the father did not give him a chance to speak. He commanded his servants to bring new

clothes, sandals and a ring for his son. The whole family had a wonderful party to celebrate the return of the

son.

This story shows how God treats sinners who ask Him for forgiveness of their sins.

NEWS FLASHLASHLASH

Claire Squires, a 30-year-old woman from North

Kilworth, Leics, started the London Marathon with

the hope of raising £500 for the Samaritans in

memory of her 25-year-old brother who died of an

overdose. Sadly, Squires never finished the race.

More than £1 million has been donated to the

Samaritans.

According to the Telegraph, Claire’s brother Grant

died of an overdose in 2001, shortly after girlfriend

Heidi Richardson died in a car accident. In hon-

or of her brother, Claire was trying to raise money

for the Samaritans, a group that offers emotional

help to distressed people.

Claire’s family and friends were shocked by her

death since Squire had successfully completed the

London Marathon in 2010. She also climbed Mount

Kilimanjaro in order to raise money for the RAF As-

sociation.

Catherine Johnstone, chief executive of Samaritans,

said:

“Claire chose to run the marathon for Samaritans

as her mother Cilla Squires has been a volunteer

for the charity for 24 years. This is an incredibly sad

time for Claire’s family and all those who knew her.

We desperately wish that it was not under these

circumstances but we have been overwhelmed by

the response from people donating in Claire’s

memory. These donations will be put into a tribute

fund and, following discussions with the family, will

go towards projects they feel would have been im-

portant to Claire.”

The organizers of the London Marathon said that

Claire Squire’s death is the 10th since the marathon

began in 1981.

Claire Squires 30, had been diagnosed with an irregular heartbeat — but refused to let it stop her fundraising.

Tests are continuing to see if Claire’s problem contributed to her sudden death while she was running the London Marathon — which sparked a charity phenomenon that has seen donations pass £1million.

She collapsed in the final few hundred yards of the London marathon — her third 26-mile event.

A friend said: “Claire had been diagnosed with an irregular heartbeat.

A gold plaque has been placed in the churchyard with her name engraved on it.

Hi friends!

As you may all have seen, in the last magazine, I wrote

about how Hudson Taylor had to sacrifice his almost

'father and son' like relationship with his spiritual leader,

Rev Burns, all as part of God's plan. In this article, I will be

telling you about a very important event in Taylor's life.

Right. Here goes: Firstly, Taylor had returned back to

Shanghai, after a very long time, only to realise that his

servant, had deliberately stolen all of Taylor's belongings

and ran away with it to an unknown place. The first ques-

tion that popped up in Taylor's mind was "what is the best

way to behave with such a man, who had been that cause

of so many problems?" Well, in this present world, our in-

stant reaction would be to report the man to the police, or

do the equivalent, to get the man punished. However,

that's not what our beloved Taylor did! Taylor had previ-

ously been praying for the salvation of the thief, and for

him to get him in trouble, would mean all of his hard work

would've been all in vain. Taylor thought of the wonderful

sermon on the Mount that Jesus taught in those days,

which says " Resist not evils" and other similar phrases

relating to this matter. The belongings which had been

stolen were worth no more that just £40, but obviously, in

the 19th century, it would’ve been a really big amount.

After a few days, Taylor had planned to go ashore, to

preach the gospel to big multitudes of people, who had

not ever heard of God. While he was there, he met an

earnest, Christian man,

called Peter. He was

indeed a saved

Christian, but he had

never experienced

the power of God,

and so, kept on ask-

ing Taylor many

questions regarding

it. As Taylor got into

the boat, to bring out

all the leaflets and

books, what did he hear? There was a massive splash in

the sea, and Peter was gone! He had drowned, and the

strong waves in the sea had taken him quite further into

the sea, to a dangerous point. Everyone 14

looked helpless, and nearby Taylor saw a fishing boat and asked

the fishermen to help, but all they answered was " it's inconven-

ient right now, we are fishing." I certainly wouldn't be happy with

them if i was in that position! Well, Taylor then begged the men

to take their boats and look for the man that drowned, by offering

to give them all his possessions and money, which would be

worth more than what they can possibly earn by fishing, in one

or even two weeks. Finally, without any signs of empathy, then

fishermen saddled their boats along, and found the body of Pe-

ter. Then, efforts at resuscitation were being made, but all of this

was in vain, as they realised there was no more life in the body!

At this, Taylor was certainly angry at the fishermen, who

could’ve easily saved the man's life. He was really angry and

asked himself “don’t these people feel guilty of themselves?" In

my point of view, they should feel really guilty, for their unmerci-

ful nature! Taylor then started to ask many other questions to

himself, like " God asked us all to preach the scripture to every

creature on earth, but what would happen if we say no all the

time, saying we're busy fishing and cannot go?" Then obviously,

there would be no one to save those who are dying every day,

without ever hearing about God. Also, perhaps no one would’ve

told ourselves about Jesus our Saviour, and we would be miss-

ing out on God's love the whole of our life! Think about that. We

would be someone else right now.

Well, as you may all have guessed, God gave the man who had

drowned, his life back again after a few minutes, and he grew in

his Christian life, to preach about our Wonderful God to others.

That's all for now, see you in the next release!

May God Bless You all

Answers of Quiz April Issue

Now as they led Him away, they laid hold of a certain man, Simon a Cyrenian, who was coming from the country, and on him they laid the cross that he might bear it after

Jesus.

And a great multitude of the people followed Him, and women who also mourned and lamented Him. But Jesus, turning to them, said, “Daughters of Jerusalem, do not weep

for Me, but weep for yourselves and for your children. For indeed the days are coming in which they will say, ‘Blessed are the barren, wombs that never bore, and breasts

which never nursed!’ Then they will begin ‘to say to the mountains, “Fall on us!” and to the hills, “Cover us!”’ For if they do these things in the green wood, what will be

done in the dry?”

There were also two others, criminals, led with Him to be put to death. And when they had come to the place called Calvary, there they crucified Him, and the criminals, one

on the right hand and the other on the left. Then Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they do.”

And they divided His garments and cast lots. And the people stood looking on. But even the rulers with them sneered, saying, “He saved others; let Him save Himself if He is

the Christ, the chosen of God.”

The soldiers also mocked Him, coming and offering Him sour wine, and saying, “If You are the King of the Jews, save Yourself.”

And an inscription also was written over Him in letters of Greek, Latin, and Hebrew:

THIS IS THE KING OF THE JEWS.

Then one of the criminals who were hanged blasphemed Him, saying, “If You are the Christ, save Yourself and us.”

But the other, answering, rebuked him, saying, “Do you not even fear God, seeing you are under the same condemnation? And we indeed justly, for we receive the due re-

ward of our deeds; but this Man has done nothing wrong.” Then he said to Jesus, “Lord, remember me when You come into Your kingdom.” And Jesus said to

him, “Assuredly, I say to you, today you will be with Me in Paradise.”
