• A Christian who fought prejudice using direct action was Rosa Parks. She refused to give up her seat. This led to the Bus boycott which became a pacifist protest against DISCRIMINATION. Rosa and other black people boycotted the buses because of segregation. No violence was used because of the religious teaching “turn the other cheek”.

• Martin Luther King fought discrimination by using direct action. He, and other black people used direct action to fight segregation. As a pacifist, Martin told the black people of Montgomery to protest by boycotting the buses. This protest was pacifist. No one was to be forced to not ride the buses because of the teaching “turn the other cheek”.
