Wh ether it's a Hack-a-thon, lecture, class, seminar,

or meetup - We regularly host a wide variety of events here at BLUE1647. This includes speaker series with Data Scientists, experienced entrepreneurs, hack-a-thons, and company summits, to name a few. We provide, and host over 100 classes and

workshops each year, with a curriculum that is accessible to startups, youth, veterans, and individuals at any stage of the entrepreneurial journey. Our hands-on tech classes cover cutting-edge technologies, help you learn new skills and make your software boundaries vanish. Each teacher has industry experience, and a unique perspective to be able to provide first-hand insights into the topic and its potential impact on various industries. Each session, from mobile and web development, to hardware and 3D-Printing is interactive and collaborative.

In addition to providing early-stage startups and

freelancers with coworking space, tools to build their venture, and support for their business - as a member, we provide an exclusive E.L.I.T.E. (Entrepreneur, Leadership, Intelligence, Technology, and Empowerment) monthly series with experts who share their insider perspective on cutting-edge knowledge, tools or methods. Each month we bring in an industry thought leader to break down emerging technologies and trends in a hands on workshop or 1-on-1 office hour meetings.

about us

Page 7: The BLUE Print

“I founded BLUE1647 because it is important to expand the technology community to all communities. As the fastest

growing industry, it’s important to equip all students, young and experienced, for the 21st century economy. It’s economic justice at the core, with a community economic development

model around technology development.

Our communities are sources of innovation and inspiration, and have yet to be refl ected in the innovation economy. We make technology development fun through our three core

tenants: people development, workforce development, and business acceleration.

We invite you to learn more about our award-winning inno-vative programs, and we look forward to discussing in more

detail. Thanks for your time and consideration.”

The 21st Century Youth Project

The 21st Century Youth Project (21CYP) teaches that training in advanced technology is a pathway to increasing opportunities through hardware, software, 3D-printing, mobile and web application development. 21CYP is a comprehensive program that prepares, mid-dle and high school students for careers in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM). Inspired by the ideas outlined in Malcolm Gladwell’s book “Outliers: the Story of Success”, the 21st Century Youth Project was founded on the concept that “success is a matter of perfect placement, timing and training”.
