Performance Powered by an all-new 2.0L turbo and 155 kW/210 hp TSI engine, the new Beetle offers a powerful driving experience. The TSI engine is particularly economical too as it applies the proven downsizing principle. Reducing the engine size in combination with supercharging is currently one of the most effective means of saving fuel. Best of all, the drive units generate abundant power despite their relatively small displacements.

SOUND SYSTEMThe well-known Fender® sound system consists of two tweeters installed in each of the mirror quadrants and the rear side panel trim as well as woofers at the front and rear. In addition, a woofer is integrated into an enclosed bass box in the Beetle’s luggage compartment (subwoofer). The central element of the sound system is a 10-channel amplifier with class A/B power amplifiers and an output of 400 watts. | S | SE | SEL

A further highlight of the package is the High ambient lighting with a lighting strip under the door trim and on the speaker ring. You can choose from one of three colours to suit your mood and create a pleasant atmosphere. The mobile phone preparation offers a significant gain in convenient features.
