Joan Betzold is an avid basket maker and teacher who applies and teaches age old traditional techniques. Mediators are professionally trained volunteers who have completed classroom training, an apprenticeship, a series of evaluations and continuing education. They represent the racial, class, age and educational diversity of Carroll County.

The CCCMC is currently accepting applications for the next Volunteer Mediator Training.

Mediator training is provided by Community Mediation Maryland (CMM) and includes 50 hours of classroom training, and an apprenticeship where trainees observe and then co-mediate two cases. To be considered, complete and submit a volunteer application. We will contact you to schedule an interview.
