Context
2009 was a barren period for IPO listings on the London
Stock Exchange. IPOs rose in 2010, but the share prices of
several companies fell below the issue price leaving investors
nursing losses.
Markets are likely to continue to be volatile in 2011, so those

a stronger position than their competitors.
