Our registration is going on now until the teams fill up.  A checklist of what is needed to register is listed on our website.     

Registration form and your payment of $50 is what is necessary to reserve a spot on a team.  Please make checks payable to PHYFA 

We host a registration/paperwork hand in night every month until the season begins.  Please view our website for those upcoming dates. 

Prices are $190 with cash/check or $199 with debit for Tiny Mites, $290 with cash/check or $299 with debit for all other teams. 

You receive a $20 sibling discount per sibling if you are registering more than one child. 

 All the players are placed on the teams based on age and weight. You can view the age/weight matrix on our website. 

All paperwork and payment is due prior to receiving equipment.   Uniforms & Equipment‐  

All players are issued a helmet, shoulder pads, and integrated game pants that are returned at the end of the season. 

They will also be issued game socks,  a game day jersey, weigh in shorts and a weigh in t shirt that is all theirs to keep at the end of the season. 

The jersey has their last name printed on the back and is theirs to keep. 

Items to be purchased are: practice pants, practice jersey, cleats, mouth guard (any color EXCEPT clear).  The mouth guards must come with a tethered strap to attach to the face mask of the helmet.   Panthers do sell some of these items in the spirit shop. 

Our helmets are no more than 5 years old and are reconditioned every other year.  The majority of our helmets have an adjustable air bladder inside for a more custom fit to protect your child. 

Our helmets come with a chin strap; if you wish to purchase a padded upgraded chin strap you may do so. 

Only CLEAR face shields are permitted if you wish to use them. (not required) 

Hydration is important!  All players should bring water to practice.  ½ gallon size water jug or larger is recommended for practice each day. 

     Practice‐  

1st day of practice is Aug 1st.   

We are a Pop Warner League which means all players have to complete 20 hours of conditioning before they can make contact.   

The 1st week ( 10 hours) are without pads.  The 2nd week (10 hours) are with pads.  With that being said practice would be up to  5 nights a week in the first 2 weeks to power through those conditioning hours before school starts. They must complete the full 20 hours before they can compete in a game or scrimmage.  Typically practice runs from 6‐8pm, however some coaches will run practice from 6‐8:30 and only do 4 days instead of 5.   

 Practice typically drops down to 3 nights a week after conditioning is complete.  Those practice nights are typically Mon, Tues and Thurs nights from 6‐8pm but each head coach can make up their own practice schedule based on their availability and or inclement weather /make up practices.     

We do practice and play in the rain.  We do have lightening detectors on the field at all times.    In the event there is lightening in the area all players will vacate the field into their parents vehicle.  After 30 mins you will receive an all text letting you know that you are clear to return to the field. 

Games‐ 

We play 4 home games and 4 away for the regular season games.  

We don't receive the schedule of where all the regular season games will be until August.  I can say they are all within our region which is Hillsborough, Pinellas, Manatee and Pasco County. 

Games are always on Saturdays and go in age order.  TM 9:00am with running clock.  MM 10:00am, JPW 12:00pm, PW 2:00pm, JV 4:00pm and UN 6:00pm 

 Bowl games and playoffs are always TBD because we don’t know what teams will be playing in them ahead of time.

Mid December‐ Panther end of the season party for all teams‐ every player will receive a trophy
