− Ribbon cutting ceremony and Grand opening ceremony of Halal Expo by Director General of the industry promotion department.

− Inauguration of stalls for Halal Expo and report note by Dr. Winai Dahlan.

− Welcome dinner for VIP`s Chairpersons, Speakers and Organizing Committee.

Potential and Future Perspectives of Degree in Halal Science for Future Innovation

− Outcomes:

1. Talk emphasized on the need of degree Program regarding Halal Science in Pakistan

2. Capacity Building and Halal Food Science Curriculum Development

3. Collaboration of Technical personals for opinion on skill enhancement of students at college and university levels.

4. Special emphasis on collaborative initiative by sharing of technical information for option about future developments.

5. Global need of entire Muslim community to move to Global Halal 4.0 system for streamlining the Halal Food Production and Certification systems.

− Concluding Session titled “Issues Facing The Halal Certification Industry and Suggestions For Resolving”

Signing ceremony of Certification Bodies (CBs), Keynote speech by President of Chulalongkorn University

− The Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Ali and Director, Dr. Muhammad Umair Arshad attended the HALAL CB Round Table Meeting. There were around 27 certifying bodies attended this meeting.

“Scientific Studies Based Evidences Between Halal and Non-Halal Meat”

Discussed the scientific based aspects regarding Halal and Non- Halal meat

Special emphasis on Halal Slaughter without stunning and stunning and comparison of blood loss was discussed

Different aspect and opinions about stunning were discussed incusing stunning as Halal compliant procedure.

Visit to the Halal Science Center, Chulalongkorn University, Bangkok

− Visited different labs such as Molecular Biology, Cosmetic laboratory, high tech instrumentation laboratory and Sample preparation laboratory

− Discuss about the collaboration between the Halal Science Center and Government College University, Faisalabad, Pakistan

− Meeting with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Winai Dahlan (Founder and director of The Halal Science Center)
