Measure the total area (in square feet) of the surface to be covered.

Add wastage @ 10%.

Make a note of the total area (including wastage).

Select the product you would like to use.

Check the unit of sale for the product.

Divide the total application area in square feet by the coverage area in square feet per unit of sale for that particular product.

Round-off the answer to the higher whole number.

Coat the surface be covered with either plaster of Paris or gypsum.

Apply two coats of wall putty.

Apply two coats of primer.

Ensure that surface is smooth, dry and free of any undulations. The smoother the surface, the better will be the ultimate finish. Any undulations inthe surface shall be visible on the final finish.

Apply two coats of the texture paint across the prepared surface as per the site requirements.

Create the texture or design while the paint is not completely dry.

Polish or buff to get the desired finish.

What is the basic raw material used in the manufacturing the products? All the products are made from a high grade resins.

What are the different types of designs?

Elementtos texture paints include a variety of great-looking textures, each having a wide pallate of shades. All in all, there is a selection of over fivehundred shades.

CHARACTERISTICS

What is the approximate lifespan of the product?

The life of the product is approximately five to seven years in the absence of any physical damage, dampness, seepage or cracks in the surface onwhich it is applied.

Do changes in environmental conditions affect the life of the finish?

The products do not change colour or fade on exposure to the sun. However, they are not meant for external use. They are recommended forinternal use only, except for the stucco paints which are specifically engineered for external use.

Can the product sustain any leakage or seepage?

Wall coverings will not sustain seepage or dampness from the surface they are applied on. The wall should be absolutely dry to enhance longevity.Dampness, moisture due to water leakage, seepage or cracks must be fixed before product application. Development of these post-application

would still lead to product damage.

No product can. Even tiles or stones will give way if the structure cracks.

Could there be any shade variations in the product?

Yes. There is bound to be a shade variation between the shade card and the actual product. Further, there may be a design variation based on theskill of the applicator.

What is the shelf life of the product?

Once opened, the product should be used within one month.

What is so special about the Elementto brand of products vis--vis other products available in the market? Well, the less we say the better. The products speak for themselves.

INSTALLATION

Do I need a trained applicator to apply the products? Very much. The entire effect depends on the skill of the applicator.

Do surfaces such as plywood, fibre board (M.D.F.), block-board, cement sheet, etc. require preparation? Yes. All these products require similar preparation. In cases where the application is of a temporary nature (such as for the purpose of exhibitions

that last only a couple of days), elaborate surface preparation may be avoided at the sole discretion of the ultimate user. The surface, if reasonably

smooth, may be coated with two coats of primer so as not to leave it totally raw. The joints should be filled up with plaster of Paris or gypsum to

provide an even finish to the surface.

What is the area coverage of the paints?

Different textures have a different coverage area. The details are provided on the price list.

Can the products be cleaned easily?

All products are water-resistant and can be cleaned with a damp cloth and mild detergent. Harsh detergents and scrubbing should be avoided.

SUPPORT

Is there any warranty on the products?

The products are guaranteed against any manufacturing defect, notwithstanding any defects arising on account of physical damage or poorworkmanship. The guarantee does not cover any shade variations that may arise on account of batch processing. The guarantee is limited to

product replacement.
