This test methods describe laboratory testing of Radiator to prove their mechanical integrity. Radiator are tested to determine the pressure Impulse of the housing materials and construction. This test simulate conditions of engine lubrication system cyclic pressure pulsation. The test condition value should correspond with those actually measured on the intended engine applicable when such information is available.

Impulse Test Rig

Specially designed inert material atomizers of standard orifice produce the salt spray with air from a motorized compressor of suitable capacity. The air pressure for spraying and agitation of salt solution can be adjusted by means of precision control valves.

A separate control panel fitted with all electrical, pressure gauges, temps. Indicator, hour meter etc. has been provided for easy operation of the equipment
