We are not offering vacation passes this year.
The coaching staff works diligently to make sure cheerleaders have time “off” from cheer over the summer (June 15-July 13). In addition, we only practice on Tuesday/Thursday so families are able to take shorter, long weekend vacations all throughout summer.
However, when we do have practice, it is detrimental to the progress of the team to not have all cheerleaders present. Summer practices are crucial for learning + reviewing chants and making sure all cheerleaders are comfortable stunting with their new team.
Per our constitution, if cheerleaders need to miss practice for a vacation or family event, they will earn 3 demerits for each missed cheer event. Merit opportunities will be provided.
