We very much appreciate the interest and evident enthusiasm for the proposed tennis complex as a

cooperative effort of the parks and the schools in your area. This is a note to confirm that your community has the continued support throughout and after the project from the USTA Texas Section. We believe that this will be wonderful for the citizens of your

community as well as a boost for tennis in the central Texas area.

Sponsorships

With approval from Kyle City Council and Conceptual Designs, Staff can begin contacting individuals, businesses and corporations that would like to

sponsor a court, purchase advertising agreements or provide merchandise in the facility.

Most of these sponsorships require short or long term agreements, signage or other arrangements in

exchange for financial contributions.

Page 25: Tennis in Texas, Tennis in Kyle!

College/University Athletics

Local Colleges and Universities often contract with Tennis Centers to use their facilities for tournaments.

Facilities with covers are often contracted for “insurance” by these institutions to assure scheduled

meets and tournaments take place regardless of weather.

Kyle Economic Development – H.O.T.

Hotel Occupancy Tax does support special events including athletic events. These facilities that host tournaments bring more visitors and hotels guests

than any other special event the City currently sponsors.

Using the portion of the available funds allowed under H.O.T. guidelines would fund tournament expenses.
