    OUT OF THE GATES: The Smokies have scored first seven of eight games against the Generals this season. In the first five innings, Tennessee is

    outscoring Jackson 26-17 (compared to 14-8 the rest of the game). Smokies starters have a 3.05 ERA (16 ER/47.2 IP) with 37 strikeouts and just 17

    walks.
