The branch remains the principal face-to-face contact point for customers and an essential channel through which customer relationships can be deepened. The traditional branch is facing a range of new challenges while it continues to act as the central point of interaction between the bank and its customers.

Cash usage and the volumes of notes and coins in circulation continue to grow and remain the payment method of choice for consumers. The result is that, despite the proliferation of digital payment systems, cash is still very much an intrinsic part of business, consumer and everyday life.

Consumers like to interact personally with their bank. TellerInfi nity is an integrated teller-assist solution; a device that can perform many of the transactions that only a teller could deliver in the past. Customers can either serve themselves or obtain assistance from a staff member who can help with their transaction or provide necessary activations or approvals.

With cash recycling a pre-requisite of such a device, TellerInfi nity can perform cash dispensing transactions in both low denominations (often not available via the ATM) and of higher values that are usually a limitation of self-service channels. With a Vertera™ 6G at the heart of the system, teller cash recyclers already used in the branch can harmoniously co-exist alongside TellerInfi nity. The need to handle cash manually is also greatly reduced and cash optimization within the branch becomes a reality.

In addition, using a common technology platform across different devices brings many advantages to branch operations; such as ease of staff training, cross-utilization of devices, interoperability of cash management data and service maintenance effi ciencies.

Confi guration fl exibility

TellerInfi nity offers a high note capacity as well as fl exibility, with the option to recycle up to 8 denominations. This is ideal for handling multiple currencies and can be utilized in branches where more than one currency is commonly deposited.

Intuitive interface

TellerInfi nity has been designed with ease of use and customer comfort in mind. The graphical user interface provides customer guidance throughout the transaction process and the entire system provides optimal ergonomics for both customers and tellers.

Secure transfer concept

In some applications, TellerInfi nity may receive more cash than it dispenses. With the added benefi t of the Vertera™ 6G secure transfer concept (STC) inside, excess cash is kept moving; either to the back offi ce for further preparation, or to the vault for storage or when the entire branch is cash positive, directly out to armored carriers; all in a secure and audited management process.

TellerInfi nity utilizes proven banknote recycling technology from Glory’s range of teller cash recyclers. With a Vertera 6G inside every TellerInfi nity, cash management and storage is handled by state-of-the-art technology, ensuring performance and reliability in every aspect of banknote detection, fi tness assessment and authentication. Cash recycling eliminates many back offi ce requirements associated with devices that issue and accept banknotes using separate modules, like most ATMs.

Modular design

Unlimited transaction capability

The teller’s companion

A single teller can support one or multiple TellerInfi nity systems in the branch, via a simple tablet device. TellerInfi nity can be used to migrate transactions, but more importantly, is an enabler for non-value-add process eradication. Standard software provides a status display for up to four devices and remote control of these devices from a single tablet.

Customer and queue management

TellerInfi nity is designed to reduce customer waiting times to perform transactions, with teller help always available. It can help reduce the general demand on teller staff, and also add “infi nite” teller capacity through inclusion of remote teller capabilities.
