It comes to my mind an unselfish and strong personality. PART 1: Which Italian person was your hero when you were young? Why did you admire this person? What was special about him/her? When I was young my hero was the Carabinieri General Carlo Alberto Dalla Chiesa. He was important because he fought against Mafia. He was a hero because he tried to stop the crimes of Mafia and for this reason he was killed. Did he/she influence your life in any way? Yes, he did, because I learnt to distinguish honest people from criminals. PART 2: Which Italian person is your hero today? Where did you meet/hear about this person for the first time? Today my Italian hero is Giobbe Covatta, a comic actor and a writer. I saw him on TV and I read his books.

What does the word ‘hero’ mean to you?

What personality traits come to your mind when you think about heroes in general?

A person, for example a soldier, who gave his life for his own country.

It comes to my mind an unselfish and strong personality.

Which Italian person was your hero when you were young?

Why did you admire this person? What was special about him/her?

When I was young my hero was the Carabinieri General Carlo Alberto Dalla Chiesa.

He was important because he fought against Mafia. He was a hero because he tried to stop the crimes of Mafia and for this reason he was killed.

Did he/she influence your life in any way?

Yes, he did, because I learnt to distinguish honest people from criminals.
