Responding to TEEB findings

What does this mean?

Responding to the information generated by a TEEB study with appropriate policy measures e.g.

–addressing harmful subsidies–the implementation of a PES scheme–strengthening national protected area systems

Why is it important?

Responding to such findings can help address policy issues more effectively and further guide policy making towards more socially, economically and ecologically sustainable action
