In all cases of suspected concussion, the player should take three weeks rest (four weeks for U12) and/or see a Doctor who is trained in concussion assessment before returning to training/play. Team  Doc/Physio  identifies  a  player  with  suspected  

concussion

If  player  is  deemed  unfit  to  continue,  player  must  leave  the  field

Match  Day  Doctor  identifies  a    player  with  suspected  concussion  

MATCH  DAY  DOCTOR

Match  Day  Doctor  advises  4th  official  to  inform  Referee  to  blow  whistle  to  stop  play  

Referee  to  note  the  NUMBER  &  NAME  OF  PLAYER

If  player  is  deemed  unfit  to  continue  and  must  leave  the  field  immediately  

and  permanently
