TEACHING THE 4 SKILLS

As we know, if we want to develop a good clil activity. this activity must improve

the four skills of language:

writing

listening

speaking

reading

But the teacher must be aware of the student's age, because the development

of one skill can be appropriate for one type of students but not for others. For

example, logically reading activities can't be used with preschools kids.

Now, I want to mention some activities in order to improve each skill.

For example, If we want to improve reading skill, we can tell to the students to

read a text and underline the words they do not understand.

Moreover, if we want to develop writing skill we can use summaries or mind

maps.

On the other hand, if we want to improve listening and speaking we might use

activities like songs, role-plays or videos.

There are also, some activities which help us to develop several skills at time as

watching a documentary with subtitles, where we could improve listening,

speaking and reading.
