TEACHING PHILOSOPHY

• Teaching young children is important to me because it is such a fundamental time of learning in their lives.

• Young children are eager and willing to try new things-- They are excited to be in school each day and bring so much energy to the classroom.

• I cannot see myself being anything else but a teacher of young children. Something I love about this profession is that you can use so much creativity in lessons and are able to work with all subjects.

I believe that children can teach us just as

much as we can teach them.

I believe that young children can be our friends and that it is

important to build a relationship with all students.

I believe in looking at difficult situations as learning experiences.

I believe that it's okay to mess up, our mistakes are what learn from and how we grow as teachers.

I believe in being prepared but flexible to change.

I believe that all children need an adult that they can trust.
