How to create Blogs and Podcasts

Blogging

• Head to Blogger.com. Use Blogger.com because

they allow you to blog for free plus they have pretty sweet

promotions with Google.

Blogging

• Create a blog name.

Pick a name that is easy to remember or represents you. (ex: hotcupo’Joe or toothlessbandito) Give a valid email address and a password that is complex yet simple. Read over the terms and then get ready to blog.

Blogging

• View your blog. Format your blog to fit your

specific likes, fonts, color of fonts, font sizes, exedra. To edit these properties click on the upper right corner button marked Customize. Personally I prefer the earthly colors, brown, tan, greens, as the blog to the right shows. But, they do offer prearranged color combos if one desires.

Podcasting

• Download Materials. First download Audacity and

the LAME encoder files. Then play with Audacity to learn the software. When you have your material export as an MP3.

google.com. Then find a host and place your file into their public folder. Your file is now served.

Podcasting• Making it a podcast. Now go to your blog site and

make a new post. The title of your new post should briefly but thoroughly describe your podcast. Then write MP3 a few lines down. Highlight MP3 and click on the Link button. Write your server URL in the space provided and publish your post. Click on the button to see if it works. If it does congrats your officially podcasted.
