Introduce dinosaurs to class and have students share what they know with their classmates.

Your main focus is to answer questions, explain tasks that will be assigned and observe and guide students if they seem unsure.

Task: Welcome dinosaur explorers! As a team, you will each choose a role and work together to create, your own dinosaur and brief biography.

Roles (3):1. Bone collector: You will go on a scavenger hunt

and collect bones from the giant sensory table.2. Researcher: You will collect and research the

various bones found by #1 and go on a site to collect data.

3. Creative task: Create a visual aid, to create a visual of the dinosaur.

Bone collector:You will have 5-8 minutes to go on a scavenger

hunt in the sensory table. A link is provided to show how real dinosaur bones are found and dug out.

Each bone will have a tag that will name that specific bone.

After the bones are collected, you will take back what you found and share them with your group.
