Step 2 Explain to my students why the skill of analyzing a prompt is necessary. Step 3 Model the steps and use the Teacher Guide to teach them the four steps. Step 4 Use the Analyzing a Prompt Skill Lesson for support as I teach the skill. Step 5 Provide multiple opportunities for my students to practice this skill.
