INTERNSHIPS FOR FRESH GRADUATES

It feels great to be a part of a life changing experience in India. I’ve worked with people who were constantly striving to create well integrated environment.I had many challenges that made the traineeship really interesting for me. I’ve been lucky enough to have worked on a variety of tasks with people of different backgrounds, discussing visual elements and images for the essential teaching material.Someone once said, “Choose a job you love and you’ll never have to work a day in your life.” So, I chose to go on an internship with AIESEC.

During my stay in India there was something to learn and adopt from each experience.I was surrounded by a mesmerizing culture full of beauty and his-tory. I was provided with an opportunity to take initiatives to im-prove my teaching skills, especially when students bring diverse backgrounds, course design is particularly challenging. However, I was inspired by their energy through the classroom discussions.I recommend to everyone an internship, because nothing comes close to the experience you’ll gain.

“I had a lot of great memories during my traineeship in UAE as well as experiences that helped to become the teacher that I am today. This experience also highlighted for me my strengths and weak-nesses.One of my biggest areas for growth was the classroom behaviour management, especially when you’re dealing with children with various cultures and personalities.I recommend those who lack assistance and reassurance to go for such internship with AIESEC, as it will take over their professional and personal aspects.

My internship in Japan was the most unforgettable experiences of my life. I was given the opportunity to live diversity. There has definitely been a sea of change within myself. As we start realizing that there is much more to do; we start changing our-selves. The internship helped me to develop my personal skills through interactive learning. It also allowed me to become more resource-ful as I learnt from others with experience what approach they take with their classes to implement new teaching skills.

INTERNSHIPS FOR FRESH GRADUATES

I chose to go for an internship to India for two reasons are:diversity, and harmony. Most of what I like about this internship is the exposure to different cultures, ideas, and perspectives. As a teacher I was involved in understanding how to use a lan-guage to accept differences, to be flexible and tolerant of ways of doing things which might be different to others.I was able to develop my intercultural skills that will serve me in my future life.

The opportunity to go for an internship to Colombia has been a unique and very enriching experience. It was an experience full of constant learning and collaboration.Besides having acquired multiple and valuable skills, I have de-veloped and applied the knowledge I gained during teaching to children in a multicultural environment. One key idea that I took away was that all students learning dif-ferently and it is up to us as teachers to meet the needs to every student in our classroom.

The overall experience of going for an internship in India allowed me to make new friends, eat different foods, and talk in a new lan-guage which had an unforgettable impact on me academically, as well as personally.Being in India showed me that I have the ability to adapt myself to a new culture. The Indian students made me realize that teaching is more than a skill, rather it’s ‘passion’.

My experiences in China are memories I will cherish forever. I know that I would not be half the teacher I am today. I’ve been introduced to new strategies which include planning, lesson design and time use.AIESEC has provided me with the chance to promote my potentials not only my teaching potentials, but also my leading potentials. I was placed in a situation that is completely foreign to me and forced to adapt to a new environment. It is only through adapting and experiencing new things and having no one but myself.

I had a unique and remarkable experience while I was staying in Indonesia. It has been an eye opening experience which I never could have dreamt of doing it on my own. I personally found the internship experience very powerful, enlightening and motivating.During my stay, I met various students who shared their stories which inspired made me believe that I can also make things hap-pen, because we can teach from experience, but we can’t teach an experience.

When you visit Oman you will be captivated by its stunning beau-ty, its rich history and the warmth of the Omani people.I had an exciting and memorable traineeship experience which I will treasure forever. I was able to think about new teaching strat-egies.This internship experience changed my worries about my capabil-ities into beliefs as I was able to test out theories, make mistakes, and learn so much about how to foster a successful multicultural classroom community.
