The practice of drinking tea has had a long history in China, having originated from there. The Chinese drink tea during many parts of the day such as at meals for good health or simply for pleasure.

According to popular legend, tea was discovered by Chinese Emperor Shennong in about 3,000B. C.. One day, it is said, while he was boiling water, some leaves of a tree dropped into his pot. The tree is later known as the tea tree.Tea is deeply woven into the history and culture of China.

Green tea

• Green tea has undergone minimal oxidation during processing. Green tea originates from China.. Many varieties of green tea have been created in countries where it is grown. These varieties can differ substantially due to variable growing conditions, processing and harvesting time.
