MEET

Ericka Nichole Moore is a professional writer and marketing strategist with more than 15 years of experience and a diverse background that includes journalism, communications andmarketing for non-profit organizations and marketing for non-profit organizations and Fortune 500 companies. She holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Columbia College Chicago and an MBA from Keller GraduateSchool of Management.

Ericka began her career as a journalist working Ericka began her career as a journalist working for Catalyst Chicago, an award-winning, non-profit news publication that serves as a watchdog for school reform and public education in Chicago. Her Catalyst portfolio includes news stories that cover a variety of issues related to Chicago’s public schools, one of which earned her a Peter Lisagor Award from the Chicago Society of Lisagor Award from the Chicago Society of Professional Journalists in 2000. Ericka eventually moved into a marketing role for Catalyst, where she created media partnerships with local broadcast outlets, strategically increased the publication’s print circulation and helped to build its on-line presence.

Ericka left the non-profit sector for corporate America in 2003, joining Walgreens as amarketing proposal specialist. In 2007 she joined Allstate Insurance, where she establisheda proven track record and high level of expertise in brand development and management,strategic planning, product launches, key strategic planning, product launches, key message development, sales collateraldevelopment and e-mail marketing.

In 2012, Ericka founded E. Nichole Communications, a marketing communications firm that helps small businesses and professional organizations develop profitable marketing plans,formalize their marketing strategies and achieve formalize their marketing strategies and achieve their marketing goals. The mission of E.Nichole Communications is to deliver high-quality, creative, results-driven marketingsolutions that promote visibility, growth and profitability for small business. Outside of her professional work Ericka serves the community through active participationwith several non-profit organizations.
