Tasty Tuesday Logo Art Contest October, 2019 Tasty Tuesday is a monthly opportunity for elementary and Early Learning Center

students to taste fruits and vegetables on the second Tuesday of the month THEME

1. Artwork should be a logo – a symbol or illustration uniquely designed for easy/instant recognition

2. Artwork may use “TT” in the logo and incorporate a Tag Line with the words “Tasty Tuesday” above

or below the logo.

3. Artwork must be produced on plain white paper, 8 1⁄2” x 11”. Please DO NOT write artist/student

name or any other information on the front of the art piece, student submission information will be

on the completed entry form only – do not destroy original artwork. Be sure to write Name, Grade,

and School on the back of artwork – attach entry form carefully with scotch tape

4. Acceptable media are paint, pencil, colored pencil, ink, marker, crayon or bold pastel

ELIGIBILITY

1. One entry per student 2. Entrants must be a student in the Barrington 220 school district boundaries 3. Entrants must be currently enrolled in elementary school, grade K, 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5 4. Parents must complete and sign consent entry form

ENTRY DEADLINE

1. Entries must be received by Monday, October 28, 2019 2. A completed entry contains artwork and signed entry form 3. To submit an entry

1. Communication / clarity of Tasty Tuesday program identity 2. Artistic talent and creativity

RIGHTS TO ARTWORK

1. Submissions become the property of Barrington 220 School District

2. Through submission of artwork, contestants and their legal guardians grant non-exclusive

reproduction and publication rights to the logo submitted, to Barrington 220, which will not be

returned

RECOGNITION

1. Logo selected will be used on all Tasty Tuesday materials, hard copy and web-based

2. Logo champion will have his/her name recognized for their efforts through hard copies, district

website, announcement, Facebook page, Twitter and all materials used for branding of Tasty

Tuesday. Student will be identified with first name and last initial, i.e. “Trevor J”

SELECTION FINALIZATION

1. Parent(s) of student champion will be contacted. Entry/consent form must be complete with

submission, or another student champion will be named.
