INTRODUCTION

• On the 1ST of October 2015, Nurul izzaty bt Mohd Rosman, Ir.Anisah binti Ag.Delin and Raja Muhammad Syafiq bin Raja Shahmizan from the faculty of Business Management UiTM Puncak Alam from Retailing Management class were instructed by our EWC 556 lecturer Mrs Kiranjeet Kaur Dhillon to write a report on The Tardiness Among Student of UiTM Puncak Alam and to submit the report on week 13 of the semester that is 2 December 2015.

• The study are being conducted with the student of UiTM Puncak Alam as to identify the causes toward the tardiness issues, determine the number of student who comes late, and to identify ways for the student to solve the problem.

METHODOLOGY

• Research instrument: - questionnaires.

• Research respondents: - both male and female of 50 respondents of UiTM Puncak Alam students.

• Research procedure: - distributing the questionnaire at the specific location of where many students

gathered such as cafe, students routes to FSK6 and “tangga kejayaan”.

CONCLUSIONS

• Oversleep habit had become the main reason and cause for student tardiness problem.

• The main reason of tardiness among the UiTM Puncak Alam students is overslept.

• The other reasons of tardiness are the number of hours taken by students to get ready for class, elevators, parking space and bus.

• Most of the students agreed that wake up early can help to reduce the tardiness among the students.
