The students were fantastic as was their performance. Congratulations to our 2011 School Leaders who did an amazing job in hosting last night’s Presentation Night Thank you Mrs Moloney for your organisation of last night’s program, everything ran extremely smoothly. Congratulations to our 2012 Leaders: Angus Marshall, Lewis Golding, Annie Hall and Kyra Baker. I know you will all be positive role models for our school. Congratulations to everyone on your awards - keep up the good work. School resumes on Monday, 30th January for students in Years 1-6 and 31st January for Kindergarten students. We look forward to seeing you then. The theme is Hawaiian/South Pacific so let’s see how colourful our clothes can be. (No midriff tops, short shorts, high heels etc). Enjoy the Christmas holidays and your children because we do. K - 1 K-1 have had a fantastic year. Well done for all your hard work, you all

deserve a well earned break.

Thank you to all parents who helped in our room this year. It was much

appreciated.

What a great year of wonderful achievements at Taralga Public Schol. My apolo-

gies for being unable to attend last night’s Presentation Evening. Thank you to the

parents and staff that support the School Learning Support Program and work with

each other for the benefit of these fantastic children. I wish Year 6 all the best for

High School and all families a Merry Christmas and a safe holiday.

MEETINGS - We had an excellent P & C Meeting on Wednesday morning. The new morning

timeslot seemed to suit parents. We discussed having a school vegetable garden next year.

Thanks to all who brought a plate to the supper at Presentation Night and everyone who

contributed to the Christmas hamper.

The P & C would like to thank all the teachers and support staff at Taralga Public School for all

their hard work over the past year.

Winners of the Christmas Raffle: 1st - Amanda Polonski; 2nd - Lorraine Davison; 3rd - Miss

Pursehouse; 4th - Alan Robertson; 5th - Matthew Thompson; 6th - Mrs Polonski.

DISCO - The P & C will be running a disco on the last day of school - Friday, 16.12.11 during the

day. The theme will be Hawaiian/South Pacific. Invitations will be going out closer to the day.

ROXANNE - COLES VOUCHERS/WOOLIES DOCKETS

To thank the teams who supported our school with collecting the Coles Vouchers and Woolies

Dockets, we sent each team a Certificate of Appreciation and a pen with Taralga Public School on

it.

The school received the following email this week:

“We received the Certificates and beautiful pens. All Certificates are proudly displayed in each

area. Everybody is looking forward to the collection next year. Hope all is well. On behalf of my

family and I, we would like to wish all students and staff, a very safe and happy Christmas.
