AttributesEMS Global Tracking’s TAM-242 provides global tracking capabilities for fixed and mobile assets such as trailers, containers, tanks and railcars. This slimline solution requires no external power source as an internal battery will provide up to 1 month operation between charges.
The TAM-242 can be installed using fixed mounting points or magnetic feet, providing greater flexibility when moving the device between vehicles.

FeaturesBased on EMS Global Tracking’s renowned SAT-202 satellite modem, the TAM-242 incorporates the following capabilities:
•Highly accurate GPS position reports•Secure logging of positions•Reliable satellite communications using the Inmarsat IsatM2M
service•Configurable reporting intervals• Integral battery pack with low capacity alarm•Typically 1 month operation between charges with 15 minute
reporting (~2800 pings)

The TAM-242 is one of the most cost-effective solutions for tracking-only applications. It provides:
