The workshops will be held on Monday evenings from April 25 until May 23 and run from 6- 7:30pm . The full schedule is as follows: Monday, April 25 th “Unlocking the Mystery: The Why Behind the Buy” Do you know where your money is going or why you spend the way you do? We focus on three areas -our childhood, our feelings of self-worth and society & the media. Monday, May 2 nd “How to Run Your Household like a Business” Sticking to a budget can seem like a royal pain! It feels like something always comes up! Most of us feel like budgeting is restrictive and frustrating. If you want to figure out how to better manage your money, this is the class for you! Monday, May 9 th “Give Yourself (Good) Credit” Good credit is something we all need! Learn how to build or improve your credit. We also cover the basics to understanding your credit score. Monday, May 16 th “Investigate Investing: Learn How to Save Find out how to save for the present and the future. Get detailed how-to’s on creating an emergency fund, saving for retirement and investment options. Monday, May 23 rd “Your Worth is Worth Protecting: Learn the Basics of Insurance Protect what you have! Learn about medical, disability, renter’s and auto insurance to name a few. Space is limited and pre-registration is required. Participants may sign up for individual workshops or the whole series. Refreshments will be served. Saturday May 14 9:30am-2pm Flea Market & Used Book Sale The Friends of Tacony Library are holding an outdoor Flea Market and Used Book Sale. Spaces available $10 (must bring own table).

Cat First Aid presented by the American Red CrossLearn basic information on how to recognize and care for feline emergencies, injuries andillness until vet help can be obtained. Workshop participants will learn how to perform rescue

breathing, what to do when a pet is choking and how to control bleeding along with learningother lifesaving skills. For ages 10 – adult. Pre-registration Required!

Wednesday May 18 6:30pm

Color in the GardenEnvironmental educator Eva Monheim will teach how to effectively create and use color combinations in your garden and landscape . Part of the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society CityGardening Series.
