Flat fan nozzles
Lechler flat fan nozzles standfor uniform liquid distributionand jet pressures. Particularlypowerful jets are generatedwith spray angles up to 60°.Nozzles with small flow ratesare especially suited for humi-difying and spraying in gene-ral. The flow geometry of thenozzle allows to produceaccurate, compact jets, availa-ble with different liquid distri-bution patterns.
Basically, Lechler flat fan noz -zles are designed for parabolicliquid distribution. Unaffectedby transient pressures, theyare suited for universal appli-cation. Their performancedata are exactly defined. Ope-rational values, such as flowrates, spray width, jet thick -ness and liquid distributionare readily available for agreat variety of feed pressu-res. There are also special-design nozzles with rectangu-lar or trapezoidal distributionof liquid.
Simple and cost-saving fixingattachments, as for instancedove-tail guides and eyeletclamps, considerably facilitateassembling and aligning ofthe nozzles.
For all cleaning operations, insteelmaking and in manyother fields of surface treat-ment, in short, whereverpowerful, uniform water jetsare required, Lechler flat fannozzles constitute a decisivebasis for achieving reliableprocess results.
The tongue-type nozzledesign represents a specialkind of flat fan nozzle. Withthis nozzle type, the flat fanspray pattern is produced bya solid stream, impingingupon and deflecting from anoutside deflector plate. As aresult, a powerful, sharply deli-mited flat jet is shaped.The deflector plate has theform of a tongue, which deter-mines the spray angle formati-on. Due to large free cross-sections, tongue-type nozzlesare particularly clog-proof.
