Metro Video Fiber Circuit Offerings: A T & T a n d V e r iz o nThe Switchs Metro Video Fiber Circuit offering wasborn out of necessity. In 2008, The Switch set out to move the market to uncompressed High Definition for local connections, switching and ICOD. In order to create these solutions, The Switch convinced AT&T to create an HD local circuit offering. An agreement between AT&T and The Switch lead to a new 2009 product offering, retail tariff and custom offer for The Switch to allow us to bring the new AT&T service to market. In less than a year The Switch structured a similar agreement with Verizon. In just under three years, The Switch has provisioned nearly 1250 circuits and is one of the top customers of both AT&T and Verizon.Unlike our competitors, who pass on tariff pricing at a costplus basis, The Switch actually discounts the tariff monthly The Result:service charges to the end Customer. While AT&T andWIN/WIN Verizon receive slightly less margin per connection, this isoffset by significantly higher volume and guaranteed revenuecommitment from a single customer, The Switch.Everyone winsthe Customer, the Carrier & The Switch.Copyright 2012 by Beers Enterprises, Incorporated.
