M a k e a S p l a s hDunes leisure centre features two swimming pools catering for a range of ages and swimming abilities. The two onsite pools include a six lane 25m main pool and a 12m indoor learner pool.
Ideally located on site is Dunes Splash World, perfect for when you’ve achieved your water wings or just want to try something new and exciting. Offering fun for all ages, Dunes Splash World features four exciting rides, a toddler play zone, water geysers, bubble spa and our very own Murtle the Turtle.
Please remember, that whatever pool you choose to swim in – whether it’s in Dunes or Splash World that all children under eight years of age need to be accompanied by an adult over sixteen years of age. This is at a ratio of one adult: 2 under 8’s and 1 adult: 1 under 5.
A d u l t Sw i m :Fancy a dip? With public swim sessions and aqua fit classes to help you keep fit, why not relax with friends in an aquatic work out? Alternatively, with with preschool and adult and baby swimming sessions available, why not take that first dip with younger swimmers bonding with baby and child and enjoy making a splash.
Sw i m m i n g L e s s o n s :We have a comprehensive range of swimming lessons for all ages and abilities, from baby and toddler groups to adult swim classes – it is never to late to take your first dip. A d d i t i o n a l N e e d s :Dunes Splash World pools are for everyone to use and enjoy, regardless of ability. With pool hoists available poolside, easy steps and disabled changing rooms the centre seeks to be as accessible possible for all members of the community with specialist sessions running at both Dunes and Splash World for all ages and disabilities. If you would like further information on activities taking place at Bootle Leisure Centre for disabled visitors or have additional needs yourself, please complete your details below.
