Thesis Statement and Question

• What makes makeup more sustainable?

• Sustainable makeup is better for the environment because it uses natural substances that are chemical free and saves energy.

What is wrong with Ordinary Makeup? • Absorption of chemicals-50% into our bloodstream

• Alpha hydroxyl acids-commonly causes irritation

• Uses petroleum (crude oil)-risks oil spills, oil waste, climate change

• Parabens –preservative added to makeup, damaging affects

• Bismuth Ox chloride, dyes, fillers, chemical addictives, talc, nullius petroleum acids, sodium laurel sulfate, aluminum salts.

Scientist create and craft all makeup. They put the substances and chemicals inside the makeup to create the final product. The scientists make the idea of the designer come true by the elements of science. It all comes together by the thought and the science combined.
