Energy-based definitions:

Source something that releases energy and is the source for energy producers

Producer something that uses the energy from a source to create a new form of energy that is usable by many consumers

Consumer something that uses this converted energy in order to function. Can be at different levels

Nature-based examples

InterdependencyKey idea energy was an example

Many different parts of a system depend on each other in more than one way

When even one connection is lost, a system can fail

SimplicitySimplicity is used to single out an item or items from their surrounding for particular emphasis.

FramingFraming is used to bring the focus of the image to the desired subject. Adds depth and perspective to image.
