Solar means the “SUN GOD”. The family

of sun is called the solar system.

The family includes 8 planets and more

than 160 satellites.

Planets revolve around sun whereas

natural satellites revolve around their

respective planets.

The word planet means ‘wanderer”.

The first 4 that is Mercury, Venus, Earth,

and Mars are called Inner planets.

The outer planets are Jupiter, Satern,

Uranus, and Neptune. They are gaseous

in nature.
