Supply Chain Consultant – Supply Chain Implementation

SCA Technologies, LLC is an innovative software product company.  SCA has developed innovative products in the strategic operations management and these products have received tremendous success in the marketplace.  As a result, SCA has grown 300% in the last year.  We are looking to expand our operations while continuing to develop our products for the marketplace. Our customers are typically Fortune 500 companies and our audience within the company is the business managers.  SCA has offices in Pittsburgh, Chicago, New Delhi & Bangalore.

Position:  We are looking for Supply Chain Consultants – software implementation & services. The Supply Chain Consultant will be responsible for:

Analyze production, distribution and sales data and construct models that adequately represent the operations of various business units across the supply chain

Analyze financial data and build cost models for predicting business costs under different growth scenarios

Build mathematical programming models that are solved in advanced optimization techniques, in order to systematically search through various business scenarios and arrive at the most cost efficient and robust supply chain structures

Communicate these efficient strategic planning solutions to clients and assist them in implementing the solutions across their supply chain

Assist in the development of generic software modules for the operations and cost analysis methodology

Create and standardize data loading methodology to load and process data into a relational database

Use tools such as SQL-Server 2000 and Excel to manage, process and aggregate sales, product, manufacturing and financial related data.

Qualifications:Education: Bachelors degree in Engineering or Applied Mathematics, Masters or doctoral degree in Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Operations Research, or Business Administration

Experience: 2-3 years of experience in modeling real-world supply chains, Strong background in modeling and analysis of logistics and production planning, inventory management, manufacturing systems

Domain & Technology: Should be familiar with ERP domain, operations domain and operations costing domain. Experience in programming languages (C, C++), and optimization techniques for linear and discrete models is preferred.
