Black cats
• If a black cat walks in front of you, it’s bad luck!
• People used to think black cats were witches (女巫 )
Cross your fingers
• If you cross your fingers when you make a wish (愿望 ), it will come true
• “I wish for a new car for my birthday, please!”• Your fingers look like a cross (十字架 )
Broken mirror
• If you break a mirror, it’s bad luck for 7 years!• The mirror sees your soul (灵魂 )
