The player with a built-in rechargeable Lithium battery.1.Charge the battery-Connect the adaptor to the DC 12V IN jack, then set the unit in POWER ON mode(THEPLAYING MODE)for fully charge.-Set in POWER ON mode but press the STANDBY button (THE STANDBY MODE) orset in POWER OFF mode for fully charge.And the indicator is red during charging; it gets green when charging is completed.2.Time to recharge the batteryRecharge and playback time depends on battery pack capacity and the temperature condition.Generally speaking, the battery needs to be charged about 5 hours in POWER OFF modeAnd about 7 hours in PLAYING mode.3.Using and Maintaining Rechargeable Battery- The normal working condition temperature is: 0 -45 ;- Always unplug ACIDC power supply for the unit whenever not playing.

NOTE: A new battery pack which has not been used or one which has not been used for morethan a month, may appear to not recharged enough, this is due to the characteristic of thisbattery and is not a malfunction. In this case, recharge it two or three times before the firstuse, and it needs more than 8 hours to recharge battery.Noises may be generated during recharging. In this case, use a more distant power socket.Do not recharge or discharge battery near a heating element such as a heater or directsunlight.

Ensure that this player and other equipment to be connected are set to the standby mode oroff and disconnect the AC adaptor before commencing connection.Do not block ventilation holes of equipment and arrange them so that air can circulate freely.Read through the instructions before connecting other equipment.Ensure that you observe the color coding when connecting audio and video cables.

Note:When playing disc, the TV volume may be at a lower level than during TV broadcasts, etc.If this is the case, adjust the volume to the desired level.If the player is connected to the TV through a video cassette recorder, the picture may not beplayed back normally with some disc. If this is the case,do not connect the player via the VCR.

Note:• Do not drop, step on or otherwise impact the remote control. This may damage theparts or lead to malfunction.• If the remote control is not going to beused for a long time, remove the battery.

-The battery normally last tor about one year although this depends on how often, andfor how often the remote control is used. •

-If the remote control fails to work even when it is operated near the player, replace thebattery.-Use one size CR2025 battery.

OPERATIONS

Press SWITCH button to switch the mode in DVD mode

1.Basic play 1-'

1. Press the" PUSH" to open the disc cover.

D2. Place a disc onto the disc compartment. Hold the disc without touching either of itssurfaces, position it with the printed title side facing up, align it with the guides, and place itin its proper position.

3. Close the disc cover, after closing the disc cover, play begins. The player starts to readthe disc immediately.

4. When a menu screen appears on the TV, move the navigation buttons or press the numericbuttons to select preferred track number, then press OK button to confirm.

2.Stopping play

Press the STOP button to stop playing a disc.NOTE: When player is stopped, the player records the point where STOP was pressed(RESUME function). Press PLAY again, playback will resume from this point. When thetray is Opened or STOP is pressed again, the RESUME function will be cleared(for DVDcompatible disc only).
