Dear applicant, REF: ADMISSION TO PRIMARY TEACHER EDUCATION SEPTEMBER 2009 P1 TEACHERS TRAINING COURSE INTAKE This is to inform you that your application to pursue the primary teacher’s education course (p1) is successful and we are happy to inform you that you have been selected to join the Sunrise Teachers Training College for your KNEC primary Teacher Education (PTE) course. You are expected to report for learning on 04/01/2010 and not later than 11/01/09 For registration please bring with you the following:

FEES: The college fees structure are as follows for all students for 1st years. LOCATION Sunrise Teachers Training College has 3 CAMPUSES, Athi river campus, Kinanie campus and Nairobi campus .For those reporting to Nairobi Campus, it is located at Development House, 8th floor, opposite Afya center, Moi avenue and for those reporting at Athi river Campus it is located at Athi river Town, Site Ngei 2, it is about 25kms from Nairobi and for kinanie campus, please see the attached route map to the college. For those who will be coming from Nairobi, they should board Matatu NO. 110 -Makadara at Railway Station, Nairobi and alight at Peponi stage, Athi river. And for those coming from Mombasa side, they can alight at Denvik Steel mills ltd and board a motorbike to the college. Account No: 047/1067539 .The Sunrise Teachers Training College is an NGO College fully registered by the Ministry of Education Science and Technology as per the education ACT CAP 211 PART 1V. Our students sit for the Kenya National Examination Council (K.N.E.C) for the award of P1 teaching certificate just like other students in the public colleges, and are approved and registered by the Teachers Service Commission (T.S.C) of Kenya on completion of their course. Teachers trained from our college enjoy several privileges such as ;partial sponsorship/bursary; and educational loans .The forms are collected from either of two campuses after admission, filled and returned back for needy assessment. The decision of the Rural Aid Kenya needy assessment committee is final as per as partial sponsorship is concerned. We inform our students in person when the Government (Teachers Service Commission – TSC) is employing and which Government schools have vacancies .We also recommend and get employment for our graduates in many private and International Schools countrywide.
