R EJOICE, O NEWLY-BAPTIZED IN CHRIST!

Congratulations to Travis and Lisa Muth on the baptism of their baby son, Isaac Xavier (1st Friday, May 3rd) and to Samuel and Laura Boecker on the baptism of their baby son, Michael Edmund Ralph (Saturday, May 11th). Let us all rejoice in the Lord as

we see the Body of Christ grow stronger in our community and the Christian Family blessed with the gift of little children! Laudetur Jesus Christus.

Congratulations to Richard M. Meyer and Rebecca (Reba) Marie Oyen who were united in the Sacrament of Holy

Matrimony last Saturday, May 11th at St. Mary Church. May the Lord be praised for this new Christian Family! Richard and Reba of-fered Our Lord in His sanctuary a beautiful bouquet of flowers in loving memory of their deceased relatives, including: Charlie Oyen, Ed Clark, Mary Meyer (Infant), Alexis Wise (Infant), Leonard Degen-

stein, Marie Meyer-Lueth and Wilmer Meyer.

CANDLES: There are two week candles available on the Holy Family and St. Aloysius

Side Altars for $10.00 a candle. There are also Mass intentions available. For any

FATHER LAWRENCE WILL BE OUT-OF-TOWN THIS WEEK and will not return until May 30th.

In the event of a sacramental emergency, please contact Darlene in the Parish Office during business hours, or after hours contact a Father Robert Krantz at 605-363-5068 or on his cell at 605-770-1652. Also, there will not be a Mass in the Cemetery on Memorial Day. All mass intentions will be moved to another date. Thank you.

ADOPTION? If you feel you are being called to adoption, Catholic Family Services will

MUSIC MINISTRY: St. Mary’s Music Ministry is in need of Cantors/Lead singers for

MONTHLY ROSARY: The Knights of Columbus will be holding their Monthly rosary on

Wednesday May 25, at 4:30pm prior to mass.

MEETING CHANGE: The Knights of Columbus will hold their meeting on Wednesday,

May 22 at 7:30pm.

ANNUAL CATHOLIC SUMMER CONFERENCE: June 7 & 8 Watertown KC Hall The confer-

ence, Prayer –communion with God ,will be led by Tammie Stevens of Seattle Washington. We will learn the 4 key moments of the act of prayer, deepening our prayer life, our personal relationship with our Lord and strengthen our evangelization of others with love. Tammie has been very involved in many Catholic conferences and retreats and since her youth with her most recent retreat being done in Malay-sia. Actively involved in the Charismatic renewal, she is a member of the NSC for the National CCR and works for WWCCR. Registration begins @ 6:30 pm on June 7th. HOMEBOUND COMMUNION: Starting Saturday June 15th and continuing through the

summer, homebound communion will be only done on Saturday Night. It will return to the regular schedule once school resumes. Any questions please contact Kathy Arnold.

CHILDREN’S GRIEF PROGRAM: Five Thursday afternoons from 3:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.

May 30-June 27, 2013-Catholic Family Services, 523 N Duluth, Sioux Falls. Directed by Dr. Marcie Moran. This program is designed for children that have experienced the loss of a loved one. In age related groups, the children will have an opportunity to share their grief experiences and learn that they are not alone in their feelings. Call 988-3775 or 1-800-700 –7867 to register. This group is non-denominational and there is no cost for participation.

GRIEVING THE LOSS OF A SPOUSE Six Tuesday evenings from 6:30pm – 8:30 pm. June

11– July 16, 2013-Catholic Family Services, 523 N Duluth, Sioux Falls. Directed by Dr. Marcie Moran. This program is for adults who have lost a spouse and are trying to cope with the pain of separation and loss. Role change and loneliness are secondary losses which can complicate the grieving process. The program will offer assistance in coping with this change and making healthy readjustments. THANK YOU: A belated thank you to all that contributed to the Food Drive held during

Lent. Approximately 383 lbs. were collected and donated to the McCook County
