They provide the professional counseling and support employees may need help to resolve issues that can affect performance at work.

Sun Life RightDirections™ can help. It is a 24/7, fully confidential source of assistance for employees and their families. Having around the clock access to this network of professionals and information helps provide the support employees need to resolve a variety of issues and bring their best to work.

Employees can access the RightDirections™ service in the way it makes sense for them – whether it’s through digital capabilities and online resources or traditional means, employees will greatly benefit from these enhancements while still receiving the same personal touch.

Building the right Employee Assistance Program for your businessSun Life RightDirections™ is a flexible model that comprises three options – Essential, Enhanced and Elite.

First Chat – a simple online chat session that is secure and confidential, providing real-time conversations with a counselor (web or mobile).

E-counseling – secure online (text-based) communication with a counselor.

Video counseling – therapeutic sessions similar to face-to-face counseling; however, each participant (employee and counselor) communicates using a webcam, microphone, and internet software via our service partner’s proprietary system.

Online group counseling – a form of therapy where multiple participants discuss their similar issue(s) with a counselor in a private and secure online setting.

Online self-directed services – provides the employee the opportunity to work at their own pace using a collection of easy-to-use online resources such as articles, tip sheets, audio and video clips, etc.

My Migo – a blended and individualized program that connects the EAP user with a team of EAP experts through an app, to establish and achieve their goals by building a customized plan that’s right for them.
