Over £1700.00 was raised from our Movember evening! All of those skin

Student common room…
The Willmott building, next
to the Baa, is being re-
furbished and will be ready
early in 2012 for students to
use as a common room.
Campaign Success - Thank you for signing our
petition! We won our campaign for a full freshers’ week. Next September
students will be able to enjoy a freshers’ week without lectures, during
which the SU and the college will put on a range of social and induction
events.
If you have any ideas of what you would have liked to do as a
fresher….please let us know.
YOU SAID, WE ARE DOING…
The SU did some GOATing (Get Out And Talk...ing) with students and
gathered lots of student views in November. We are now ploughing our way
through the issues which were flagged up.
We will be specifically looking at the library opening hours and the facilities
in halls of residence. A meeting has already been set up between the
director of CASTLe to discuss the academic issues which were highlighted.
Look out for our next campaign, and check out our new website -
