Higher the ideal, higher will be degree of selflessness, hence higher the potential for effective leadership

Swami Vivekanand explained this truth most forcefully when he said:-

“ I cannot ask everybody to be totally selfless; it is not possible. But you cannot think of humanity at large, at least think for your country. If you cannot think of your country, think of your community. If you cannot think of your community, think of your family. If you cannot think of your own family , at least think of your wife. For heaven’s sake do not think of yourself”

Each individual is a bundle of virtues & weakness—0f mental & moral qualities

The resulting individuality of person from this balance is his character, or at times also referred as his personality

Core qualities which are really important & which are invariably found in the character of all the outstanding leaders are three—courage, determination, initiative will power.
