What are conventions?Sets of rules, requirements, or methods that govern how something is produced or performed.
Street photography genreStreet photography is a genre in which subjects are captured unknowingly and naturally. The location of the images within this genre are public areas, such as parks, streets, train stations etc. Street photography can sometimes be the process of capturing a moment in a opposite way to what is expected, and typically causing wry amusement. It can also be the documenting of a very personal view on a certain location or the documenting of a out of the blue incident.

Street photography-decisive moment
Street photographers believe every location in a public space will have a decisive or perfect moment. As a photographer it is your job to know when that moment is and hit the shutter.
Street photographers use a technique called juxtaposition.“An act or instance of placing items close together or side by side, for comparison or contrast.” this can result in the creation of something new.

Street photography Conventions
If you want to shoot street photography you must decide what approach you want to take
Staged Narrative
Staged narrative photography are images which are created with careful consideration of conventions such as actors, lighting and sets. Staged narrative could be compared to a still from a film, where the photographer acts as a director.
